A quotation of pricing is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Equipment availability is not guaranteed until quotation has been booked and confirmed. Availability is on a first come first serve basis. No quotations are confirmed until deposit or payment in full is received.
A deposit is due at time of booking via Credit Card. Full payment is due at/by time of departure. Drivers are able to accept payment via Credit Card onboard. There is a 72 Hour cancelation policy in effect for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 72 hours will result in a minimum charge of 3 Hours.
Regular office hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday except for Statutory Holidays. Our Office number is 1 844 576 2507. After Hours Charter Emergency Number is (587) 439 5901 for any breakdowns, no shows, or other issues that may affect your charter.
The customer is responsible for any damages done to the unit by passengers during the charter and you will be billed for any repairs necessary. This includes spillage on the seats of drink, food, and human error.
Lost and Found:
Luna Express is not responsible for any items left or lost on the units. Please ensure that you assign someone to do a final check of the van for any items that may be left behind on the seats, in the seat back, overhead compartment and luggage bay.
Drivers Maximum Hours of Service:
The Federal and Provincial Governments have legislated Hours of Service rules that ALL Transportations Companies must follow:
Maximum Hours of Driving, 13 Hours
Maximum Hours on Duty, 14 Hours
Maximum Hours for a day shift, 16 Hours
Operators must have continuous 8 hours of rest per 24 hours.
These rules are strictly enforced by the Department of Transportation and fines can be levied to the driver, the Transportation Company, and the customer. Drivers can also be placed “out of service” for up to 72 hrs.
Act of God/Uncontrollable Events:
On occasions, such as severe weather conditions, closures, heavy snowfall, major traffic accidents, etc. Luna Express cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs incurred. In cases such as this, costs will be billed to the customer.
Waiver of Consequential Damages:
It is agreed by you, and acknowledged by you that Luna Express would not be providing the Charter services to you without this limitation, that Luna Express, shall not be responsible for any claims or damages incurred by you or your passengers, including without limitations, deposits or costs incurred by you or your passengers for rooms, meals, or admissions arising from delays due to factors beyond the control of Luna Express, including delays arising from weather conditions and mechanical failures.
